Our presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina began in 2003, with the launching of the Seenet program – Local Governments as Development Actuators, which promoted the building of a network between local institutions of the Southeast Europe and the Tuscany Region. The work in this country, and generally in the Balkans, is based on an approach that promotes meeting of people and collaboration of territories as a way of establishing the dialogue and reconcilement among the war affected environments. Ucodep intervenes also with the aim of instigating the process of integration of the countries of this area into the European Union and their adaptation to the socioeconomical standards of the European Union.
